"Thank You" to the Yorketown Telecentre and it's Coordinator Andrew Cheel  and Volunteer Margaret Cheel

for hosting our meeting this month and especially to Peter Hancock for arranging it.

DDA members met with local Yorketown Business and individuals who came along to see what was happening with the Agile Wireless Network,
which had been implemented in the region..

We all enjoyed the talk by Margaret Cheel about the Agile Phone Card and many of us discovered that we are able to take advantage of it too, to make savings on STD phone calls.

Thanks to some great research and organization by Andrew Cheel the Yorketown Telecentre Coordinator and his supporters, the group was able to get a good feel for Wireless Broadband and the various technologies that it can use and be delivered with including VoIP.

We were also lucky to have an outside display from Peter Hancock Yorktown Electrician, whom had bought his 4 Wheel drive and trailer with his "Mobile Test" gear. It is great to see the local enthusiasm and ingenuity for supporting the technology that Agile/Internode have bought to the district.
